  I have always think that every holiday is an unique experience and for that it is very difficult for me to choose one of them as my best. even so, I will like to talk about a trip that I made this last summer to Valle del Elqui . For the ones who d on´t know, Valle del Elqui is an arid Valley laid inside the mountains of Coquimbo province, in the feet of the Andes. I went there since one of my sister was keeping a house of artisans and she invited me to go and stay there for free. What was really convenient for my poor situation and my desires of backpacking anywhere with my girlfriend. At first, we arrived to La Serena, a city that was cloudy and not the kind of place that I like, so we hurred up and took the bus to Vicuña, where we met a lot of cool people that at the end of the day carry us to Pisco Elqui, where my sister was. Ladakh , a place I would love to visit! I  have   always felt this special fascination with remotes settlements that due to an extreme nature, still remains mostly untouched by the hand of modernity, as if they were trapped in a time capsule, preserving ways of life that go thousands of years back, right to the origins of history and civilization.   Ladakh is full of  lonely temples that from the top of the montains, overlook the vast plains of the rivers Ladakh is one of these magical places, located at the northest point of Jammu and Kashmir state in India, where the Himalayas begins and the inclement weather and the  rough topography make  it hard the advance of big cities.  In this place, between gigantic mountains, live their life small groups of tibetan and indians , sustained almost completely from agriculture and cattle raising of a bovid called Yak, a hairy type of Ox that inhabits the hostile plains of Ladhak  ...
